Minnesota Housing Assistant Commissioner, Housing Stability
The Assistant Commissioner, Housing Stability will be responsible for leading the Agency’s work related to:
- State and federally appropriated housing stability programs,
- Permanent supportive housing implementation and standards, and
- Temporary federal emergency rental assistance programs, including compliance.
The housing stability programs include the ongoing state appropriated Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program (FHPAP), Housing Trust Fund (HTF), Bridges and Bridges Regional Treatment Center (Bridges), Homework Starts with Home (HSWH), Statewide Strategic Plan Grant; and the federally appropriated Section 811 program and Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS (HOPWA) program. In the most recent program year, these programs collectively allocated more than $27.4 million of state and federal resources to serve more than 7,700 households.
